A bobcat kitten that has been named "Mr. Murderbritches" is gaining notoriety as a video of him snarling and swiping at wildlife officers attempting to release him out of a cage in Utah circulates on social media. The video, posted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources on Twitter, shows the growling Murderbritches as he is relocated out of town after he was caught eating chickens in Kanarraville, Utah.

With three times more males than females, the traditionally monogamous bird is having extramarital affairs, a new study has found. Sugar gliders, which predominantly prey on female parrots, have created a gender imbalance and pushed the population into critically endangered levels.

The evacuation comes after an expert trapper was brought in late last week in an attempt to relocate the otter. Officials had been hoping to avoid relocating the koi, as draining the pond and moving the fish could cause stress and possible damage. But after the otter was able to evade a set trap, stealing the bait and prancing off unscathed, officials are now forced to move the remaining koi.

Pandas often give birth to twins, but only nurse one of them, which is a tragic waste of pandas. Scientists have found a workaround that relies on their innate obliviousness, as you can see in this clip from BBC Earth. One may argue that this only perpetuates the survival of less-intelligent pandas, but that's akin to closing the barn door after the horse has escaped.
