Some folks get extra cheerful when they’ve had a few too many pints of lager, and some folks get a little cranky or downright depressed. Still others lose all sense of propriety and good manners, and get sloppy and silly with anyone in their midst.

It's pretty much accepted fact that the great white is at the top of the food chain. Even large sea mammals stand no chance against this giant killing machine. Aside from making babies? It swims and it eats. Not much else. Are they vulnerable, however?
Science has now discovered that there is another sea dweller that strikes such fear in them, that they swim away... for months at a time, or even permanently.

What you don't expect, is for a big ol' bear to tiptoe into your driveway in the middle of the night, break into your car, relieve itself inside, and crash it into a mailbox, which is why a family was a bit startled to recently discover their Subaru ravaged in such a manner.

A bobcat kitten that has been named "Mr. Murderbritches" is gaining notoriety as a video of him snarling and swiping at wildlife officers attempting to release him out of a cage in Utah circulates on social media. The video, posted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources on Twitter, shows the growling Murderbritches as he is relocated out of town after he was caught eating chickens in Kanarraville, Utah.
In Tasmania it's breeding time for the critically endangered swift parrot - but something is very wrong. With three times more males than females, the traditionally monogamous bird is having extramarital affairs, a new study has found. Sugar gliders, which predominantly prey on female parrots, have created a gender imbalance and pushed the population into critically endangered levels.

The evacuation comes after an expert trapper was brought in late last week in an attempt to relocate the otter. Officials had been hoping to avoid relocating the koi, as draining the pond and moving the fish could cause stress and possible damage. But after the otter was able to evade a set trap, stealing the bait and prancing off unscathed, officials are now forced to move the remaining koi.

Pandas often give birth to twins, but only nurse one of them, which is a tragic waste of pandas. Scientists have found a workaround that relies on their innate obliviousness, as you can see in this clip from BBC Earth. One may argue that this only perpetuates the survival of less-intelligent pandas, but that's akin to closing the barn door after the horse has escaped.
