Chris Van Dorn is going above and beyond -- to superhero standards -- to rescue animals in need of loving homes. Similar to other rescues, Van Dorn said he's always had a passion for animals but where he stands out is the way he saves these animals: He dresses up as Batman when he's on his rescue mission. Aboard his "Batmobile" -- a silver two-door Honda Civic -- the 26-year-old drives countless miles to rescue pets.

An instantly recognizable theme song, outrageous death traps, ingenious gadgets, an army of dastardly villains and femme fatales, and a pop-culture phenomenon unmatched for generations. James Bond, right? Wrong. 1966’s Batman television series practically defined the comic book adaptation for the next three decades with its distinctive visual flair and parade of celebrity guests, even as it walked the line between loving adaptation and straight-up parody.

Today, you can stream Batman Begins on Netflix for the first time since the last time you could stream Batman Begins on Netflix. I would encourage you to do this, not because you haven't seen it before, or because it's important, or dark-gritty-something-something-Christopher-Nolan. That's some 2005 shit. It's time to get with the 2018 hotness: Batman Begins rules because it is goofy as hell.
It’s the 50 year anniversary of the Batman TV show, but since we’ve already covered that (with Adam West) we’re heading to Gotham City to see what we can dig up about Batman (1989).

Phoenix philanthropist and Batman aficionado Charles Keller has a Batmobile, a Batcycle, is in the process of building a Batcopter, and even has a '66-era Batcave - all of which he makes available to terminally-ill little kids... and now he's building stately Wayne Manor to further support the cause.

Mr Sunday Movies has created a supercut showing everyone Batman has killed in live-action films. In the comics Batman is known for not killing people, however that rule does not seem to apply to movies.

...like this one for Batman vs Superman. While I'm still dubious about the whole Batfleck thing and the casting of waifish Gal Godot as Wonder Woman, I must admit I'm getting a little excited to see this.

People used to get together and listen to Beatles albums backwards ALL the TIME, looking for clues to Paul's death. I was just a kid at the time, but I REMEMBER people talking about it ("No -- really, man! If you play "I am the Walrus" backwards ...!"). This rumor lasted WAY beyond the Beatles breaking up. Apparently a few people out there STILL believe it.
Then there's Batman #222, in which Batman and Robin actually try to SOLVE the mystery of "Paul is Dead."
I'm going on vacation for the week so regular postings like Fuckoff Theater and Wideo Woundup will be on hiatus. I leave the site in the capable hands of the staff, and you with this very well done full-length movie of Arkham City comprised of gameplay and cutscenes. Happy new year, everyone!

His utility belt might not be as well-equipped as the TV version and he hasn't had to fight Penguin's henchmen yet, but Zoltan Kohari has nailed the superhero look and grit needed to fight evil in the southern Slovak town of Dunajska Streda.
